If an emergency vet visit is required in your absence, I would gain authorisation from you (if possible), and transport your pet to your named veterinary practice.
If it is an emergency situation and I am unable to contact you, I would then make the decision to take your pet to your named veterinary practice. This would have previously been discussed with you at the 'Meet and Greet' vIsit.
